The Mothers' Union is an international Christian charity that seeks to support families worldwide through its programmes of health education, parenting groups and literacy classes. The organisation currently has over 4 million members, women and men, worldwide.
There are two groups which meet under the umbrella of Ashbourne Mothers’ Union.
Members help at Baptism services by setting up the church for the services and supporting the clergy.
The afternoon group meets on Tuesdays at 2.30 p.m. in St Oswald’s Church Hall - please check the Calendar for meeting dates. The format is more traditional with a time of worship, sometimes followed by a speaker and refreshments.
New members are always welcome.
