I have completed my Anna Chaplaincy training and am now licenced as a Chaplain here at St Oswald's, Church Ashbourne. Anna Chaplaincy is outward facing ministry, it’s all about acknowledging the gifts older people have regardless of whether they have a faith or belief. Understanding people’s needs, their richness and experience, the sense that they (we), whatever our age, are on a journey and for many, a Pilgrimage towards God.
I bring to this role my personality, life experience, love and commitment to do my very best.

BRF is the home of Anna Chaplaincy; it supports, resources and enables its work. BRF is a Christian charity. Our vision is to enable people of all ages to grow in faith and understanding of the Bible and to see more people equipped to exercise their gifts in leadership and ministry. Offering spiritual care in later life
BRF’s Anna Chaplaincy ministry is an ecumenical, community-based, chaplaincy network promoting the spiritual welfare of older people, for people of strong, little or no faith at all. Anna Chaplains support older people and their carers wherever they may be – in residential care, in congregations, in their own homes and in the community. BRF’s rapidly expanding Anna Chaplaincy network inspires, connects and equips churches, individuals and other groups involved in this ministry nationwide. Our work includes
developing the Anna Chaplaincy model of best practice, offering training, resources and meet-ups, and advocating at a national level.
