Lent starts on Ash Wednesday and is a 40 day period of preparation before Easter. Often a time when many Christians observe a time of moderation, reflection, and prayer.
Ashbourne Churches Together will be hosting Lent Lunches at All Saints Hall on Belle Vue Road. St Oswald's will be hosting the lunch on Thursday 26th February from 12:00 noon.
Lent Lunches offer a chance to share fellowship with other local churches, to meet, chat and enjoy each other's company. Soup with a roll will be served, together with a hot drink. All are welcome.

Lent Lunches start this Thursday, 19th February in All Saints Hall, Bellvue Road. All Saints have kindly offered their Hall for the next 5 weeks as everywhere else is either fully booked or having work done.
Each week will be hosted by a different Church. Please support the Lunches every Thursday from 12 noon, but especially St Oswald's on 26th February.
